Fun Grizzly Bear Facts.

Grizzly bears are very small at birth, They are about the size of a small squirrel. Weighing  about 1 pound or 350 -700 g

Grizzly bears are not considered true hibernators. During the winter they sleep in their dens but their body temperature only

drops slightly. They are in a state of drowsiness and can be woken easily. On occasion they may wake up and walk around.
